Do I need an account? No. There is nothing to sign up for. Your bookmarks, reading progress and settings stay on your device.
How do I turn the daily verse reminder on or off? Settings → Daily Verse. You can pick the time, or switch it off entirely. If the toggle will not turn on, notifications are disabled for the app in iPhone Settings.
Can I change the text size? Yes — the Aa control in the header cycles through three sizes, and Settings has the same choice with a preview. Translations deliberately stay one size, so they read consistently wherever they appear.
Where does the commentary come from? Al-Mīzān fī Tafsīr al-Qurʾān by Allāmah Muḥammad Ḥusayn Ṭabāṭabāʾī. The summaries are AI-assisted renderings of that work, and narrations are drawn from Nahjul Balagha and Al-Kafi only.
