Al Mizan Summarized does not collect, transmit or sell personal information.
There is no account to create, nothing to sign in to, and no advertising or
analytics of any kind in the app.
What stays on your device
The app saves a small amount of information locally so it can work the way you
left it. This never leaves your phone or tablet, is not readable by us, and is
deleted when you delete the app:
which verses you have read, and your reading progress
bookmarks and recent searches
your chosen theme and reading-text size
whether the daily verse reminder is on, and the time you chose
any verses you have flagged, until the report is sent
Daily verse reminders
Reminders are scheduled by your own device and delivered by it. Nothing is sent
to a server, and no push token or device identifier is created or shared. You can
turn reminders off in the app at any time, or in your device's Settings.
When the app uses the network
The app carries its entire text with it and works fully offline. It contacts
the network in only two situations:
App updates. On launch it asks Expo's update service
(expo.dev) whether a newer version of
the app's content is available. That request carries technical information
only — the app version, platform and runtime version. No personal
information is included.
Email you choose to send. If you use the Flag feature on a
verse, or tap the address in Settings, the app opens your own mail app with
a message prepared. Nothing is sent unless you send it, and it goes to us by
email like any other message.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone,
including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with
a new date above.
